I realized I never posted an update saying everything has been shipped lol. I finished shipping all the remaining pledges with tins almost two weeks ago now and so most if not all of you should have them in hand by now :) I hope you guys love them and enjoy putting your puzzles together!

There are a handful (less than 5) of you who didn't fill out the survey or pay for shipping, that I am still waiting on and will ship just as soon as that is taken care - but otherwise, I think that we have made it across the finish line! 

Thank you so much to everyone for backing my campaign and your patience as some of the pieces, like the tins, took much longer than anticipated - but hopefully it was worth the wait! I really appreciate being able to make new and beautiful things for people to enjoy and I couldn't do it without you guys - so thank you again, with all my heart <3 Happy puzzling!! 

They're Here!!

I'm so excited to say that the tins are finally here!! :) 

I got an update two nights ago that the tins should be delivered this week - and at 10 am this morning a FedEx driver pulled up to our house very confused about whether we were expecting an entire delivery truck worth of boxes. We live right next to a lumber yard/hardware store - so apparently there was some confusion about the giant shipment not going to the large business address, but rather, the tiny little house next to it lol. 

Thankfully my husband hadn't pulled out of the driveway for work just yet either lol so he could help move the mountains of boxes into my studio. And here they are!

Literally stacked to the ceiling! My studio has become a wall of boxes with just a little walkway to my computer chair so I can type this update to you guys :) 

I still have to open all the boxes and inspect everything - but I did open at least one of each design to see how they turned out - and they look so pretty!

It's always scary printing on a new material with a new manufacturer, as there is so much that changes between each about how things will print - but I was so happy to see that these turned out really lovely. 

I took some quick pictures for you guys to be able to see as well - and will try to take better pictures soon as well - but I wanted to get this posted right away as I know you have all been waiting a good while for these to get here. 

I plan to start packing shipments tomorrow and get these shipped out as fast as I possibly can! I am just one person and I hand wrap everything to make it as safe as possible in transit and hopefully as nice as possible to open. Each box usually takes me about a half hour to wrap everything and pack (depending on how complex the order is) - so with all that said, I am not sure how long to estimate it will take for me to get through all the orders but my hope is to have them all on their way to you guys by the end of next week, if I can pack them as fast as I hope. 

I'm so excited to finally get these in hand so I can send them to you guys! Thank you so much for your patience as these made their transit over the sea and across the country - we are almost at the finish line! Love you guys and I will update soon on how the progress of this goes :) 

Tin Update :)

Hey :) Just wanted to post a quick update on the progress of the tins as I realized it's been a while since we have been waiting for their arrival. My apologies for not updating recently as there hasn't been much to tell other than just waiting for word that they have arrived. I had hoped they would get here faster, but unfortunately, there isn't much I can do but wait for them to arrive.

The good news is - I just received notice that they arrived at the US port a few days ago. So they are in the country now and made the long voyage across the sea. I was told that I should expect to hear from customs within a week or so to arrange delivery to me. 

Usually, the freight shipment is transferred to another delivery service that then transports the palettes from the port to my address - so it is another level of shipment and delivery that has to be arranged. And I am just waiting to hear from them so I can arrange to have the tins delivered to me. 

I am uncertain with all the new changes whether there will be added customs, tariffs or import fees - as I have not heard anything about that specific to this delivery. If so, I will deal with that when it arises - but hopefully that will not be the case and the tins will be delivered as soon as possible. 

I do have everything set up to get these shipped right away when they arrive, so as soon as they do - I should be able to get these shipped out asap - as fast as my hands can pack and ship them! I'm just anxiously awaiting their arrival so I can get them sent out to you guys. 

Thank you so much for your patience! And hopefully, there won't be much more needed until these are on their way to you! I will let you guys know as soon as they arrive - with pictures! - and how the fulfillment is progressing. 

Deluxe Puzzles & Tins

Hello again :) I hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving weekend of food and loved ones <3 

I realized it's been a while since I posted an update, so I thought I would drop in and touch base with you guys. 

For now, I am just waiting on the tins to finish being made and shipped. The manufacturer says they will likely ship by the 22nd of this month. It is freight shipping since the tins are so large and there are so many of them, so usually it takes about 4-6 weeks for freight shipping to arrive - so it will still be a while before the tins are here and I can get them shipped out. But everything is done, its just a waiting game now of when they will arrive. 

Once they are here though, fulfillment should go very quick :) I will likely be able to have all the orders with tins shipped within just a week or two, esp since I was able to get so many of the standard puzzles already shipped. 

There were a few of you who got standard puzzles with gold-foil stickers as add-ons that I haven't shipped yet as the gold foil stickers are taking longer to make but I've decided to go ahead and ship your puzzles this week without the stickers - and I will ship the stickers once they are finished, that way you won't have to wait any longer for your puzzles :) I had thought the stickers would be finished by now, but some of the samples didn't turn out how I wanted, so I am working on polishing them a little more before having the finals made. So rather than hold up anyone's order while the stickers are being improved, I decided to just go ahead and ship them separately. 

Also - I realized I never shared the final tin wrap paintings or flower closeup paintings for the back of the tin - so I have an excuse to add some pretty art in here :) These are all eight of the extra paintings I painted for the tins. I'm so happy with how everything turned out, but it was definitely far more time-consuming than I expected lol. The side wraps took longer to paint than the original bird paintings they went with because there were so many flowers to paint in each. But I think it was worth it in the end as I think the tins will be so much prettier with all the extra art. 

Anyways, I hope you guys love how all the extra paintings turned out! <3 And I will keep touching in with you guys as we wait for the tins to arrive :)

Back for another quick update! 😊 First off, all the smoke test surveys that have been filled out went super smooth - so I went ahead and sent out all the remaining surveys. So everyone should be getting their surveys today. And for those of you who filled them out already, I have already begun locking the orders and packing your orders up to ship! (Except, as I mentioned before, the deluxe puzzles & tins which will take a little longer.)

I do have some good news on the tins though!

The sample arrived for the first tin - and it's gorgeous! It turned out even better than I hoped <3 The colors are beautiful and the surface gleams. There were a few issues with the samples - they put the hinge on the wrong side and they forgot to put the clasp on it, but those should be easy fixes. The hard part is getting the colors to print perfectly and they did! 

I really think you guys are going to love these! As I mentioned before, it will likely still be a few months for them all to be made and shipped to me - but I really think they will be worth the wait. 

And, I wanted to add something special to the deluxe sets to help make up for the delay - so I am adding a matching magnet of the painting into each of the deluxe sets as well - which also will hold the gold foil print nicely to the inside lid of the tin. I did a little experimenting with magnets and I was happy to find a way to secure the gold foil print inside the tin without any kind of adhesive or tape - and the magnet works beautifully. So hopefully that little extra surprise will also help make it a little more worth the wait as well. 😊 I am also ging to include the matching magnets with each tin purchase as well, as a way to say thank you for everyone's patience as I work to get so many different things made this year 😅
